Many independent contractor caregivers referred through TenderCare Services can assist clients with transportation as needed -whether as part of companion care or personal care services or as a standalone service as determined by the client’s needs.

A caregiver referred by TenderCare Services can provide senior transportation services to and from doctors or medical appointments, grocery shopping, social outings, and errands of any kind at the client’s convenience.

TenderCare Services ensures that all caregivers referred to provide senior transportation services have clean licenses and have current auto insurance. Clients can choose to receive transportation in their own vehicle or in that owned by the referred caregiver.

Below is just one example of senior transportation services:

TenderCare Services receives a telephone call from the out-of-state daughter of the client, detailing her mother’s various appointments and desired grocery trips for the coming week. These visits are relayed to the regular caregiver. The caregiver will arrive in plenty of time to greet the mother, help her into the car and arrive at the appointment in good time. The caregiver will wait for the mother or accompany her during the appointment, and then transport her home, perhaps stopping to pick up groceries on the way home. The caregiver will help her back into her home, put away the groceries and say goodbye.
