TenderCare Services is a family-owned and operated nurse registry based in Stuart, Florida. TenderCare was established in 1994 and has specialized in referring the very best in-home caregivers to families of the Treasure Coast ever since. The owners of TenderCare Services are a husband and wife team, Linda Nicol and Alan Pearce, who packed up the entire family home, cat and dog included, and moved to Stuart from England in 2008. In 1987 the family bought a catamaran named Serendy, which they renovated to charter in the British Virgin Islands. By chance, they visited the beautiful City of Stuart to meet a British naval architect who would undertake the task of making Serendy seaworthy. Linda immediately fell in love with the area, and it was her dream to live on the Treasure Coast one day. Linda and Alan bring a wealth of experience from their extensive health care background in England, where they owned and operated both an in-home care company and a 92-bed nursing home called Roden Hall. Linda maintains that “although things are done very differently in America, great care and wonderful customer service are the same wherever you are.” After finishing college degrees in England, their son and daughter, Edward and Annabel, joined the family business in 2009. Together with a fantastic team of staff, the family prides itself on guiding its clients through the process of receiving exceptional in-home care referrals.

Linda visited Stuart over 20 years ago and knew she wanted to call the quaint-town home one day. Having successfully started and operated a 92-bed nursing home as well as a thriving home health agency in England, Linda finally realized the dream of moving the family to the United States in 2008. A registered nurse in England, Linda brings a wealth of experience to TenderCare and now enjoys a more behind-the-scenes role in business development. Linda is an avid photographer and enjoys exploring new places in search of that perfect composition. She also adores waking up to the beautiful Florida sunshine every day!

Alan absolutely loves meeting with clients, hearing their stories, and finding ways to help them remain independent in their own homes. Alan moved to Florida in 2008 with Linda and loves living in the Sunshine State. Alan was instrumental in helping Linda apply for and obtain the nurse registry license after the business was purchased as a small homemaker companion service in 2008. When he’s not cracking jokes with our current office staff, he can be found organizing and cleaning his RV or practicing his golf swing. Alan also loves watching football (or soccer as it is known over here) and is a lifelong Manchester United fan!

Annabel graduated from the University of Chester in 2007 with a joint Bachelor’s degree in English and Communication. Annabel moved to Stuart in 2009, and following a short stint in marketing for another company, she jumped at the chance to join the family business. Her role in the company is diverse and covers finance management and billing/payroll service to advising new clients through the process when looking for in-home caregivers for themselves or their loved ones. When not working out of the Stuart office, Annabel enjoys training and competing with her horse, Fable, and spending as much time outdoors as possible, Pudding her Jack Russell is never far behind either!

Jodi is originally from Massachusetts and brings decades of experience across a range of settings within the home health care industry in Florida, and she just adores working with seniors. From your initial signup with TenderCare to meeting your first independent contractor caregiver and ongoing, Jodi is on hand every step of the way to ensure you and your loved ones receive exceptional service. Jodi is passionate about assisting all of our clients with kindness and compassion, whether for one hour per week or 24/7 service. When Jodi is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, her darling grandsons Brayden and Brooks, and her fur babies, Stella and Shadow!

Stacey grew up in Hudson Valley, New York, and moved to Florida to be closer to her parents as they enjoy their senior years. Stacey has an extensive background in hospitality and customer service and works closely with Annabel in processing billing & pay advances for all clients and caregivers. Stacey loves knowing that she is helping our senior population continue to be independent and live their lives to the fullest! When Stacey isn’t working, she enjoys cooking, snorkeling, and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle (as long as it isn’t raining!) Stacey also recently completed her first half marathon and is enjoying her new found love of running. There is never a dull moment in the office with Stacey around, and everyone enjoys her brilliant sense of humor!

When not in the office, Brooke enjoys going fishing, boating, and spending time with her family and fur babies!
