The Tender Care Team has been a life saver!! During a very difficult time within our family, I was told by Respite... Facility to obtain additional care for my father within a 4 hour time frame. This was mind boggling to me!! I jumped on the internet, God was on our side!!Out of the 2 teams I called, Tender Care answered the call immediately and handled the situation, providing staffing at a moments notice. The Team has been there ever since!! I must do a very special shout out to Lily, my Father's care provider. She has been there since day 1, never wanting to leave his side, handling all the ups and downs of his medical care and the continual changing of his needs. There are not enough words to completely express my feelings.I have never written a review before, but found it was very necessary for all families who must deal with a situation as we did. While taking care of my elderly father, I found out about Tender Care from a friend down the street. My father passed... away this past Thanksgiving, but I have to say that the staff at Tender Care and the people they sent to help my father were such a godsend! Betty Duchaj from Tender Care came to our house anywhere from 2 to 4 times a week for over a year. She kept an eye on my dad and even stayed late one time when he fell ill and she waited for me to get back home. She liked to keep busy and it was always nice to come home to a clean kitchen with the living room tidied up, and taking care of keeping my dad‘s areas tidy as well. We really did enjoy having Betty around and now that my dad is gone I still keep in touch with her. Thank you so much Tender Care for being there when we really needed you. You helped make my fathers final days easier and more pleasant for all of us.read more

My parents have spent winters in Stuart Fl. for the last 30 years. The people at TenderCare Services made it possible... for my parents to be there again this winter and out of the cold New England weather. My mom needs some special care and my dad is 90 and can't do it alone. The staff is wonderful from Jodi in the office who helped me get thongs set up and work with my mom's long term care insurance to Janie my mom's primary care giver who help my mom with her daily needs. They made my parents stay go smoothly and helped relieve my mind of the worry about my mom's care when she was so far away from us with no family members there to help my dad. I look forward to working with this great group of people again next year when my parents hopefully can return for the winter months.read more

Tender care services where do I start, lets talk about how easy the process is, they are super informative, easy to... deal with, and the MAIN CONCERN is the care of your loved one and how they can help. They are always willing to talk to you to and explain everything so you are not left in the dark. One of the hardest things is to find a good at home care service and people you can trust to take care of your loved one. Thats the biggest thing for me having good competent, and trustworthy people taking care of my loved one. Spoke with Ms Jodi and she was super reassuring and compassionate as this was my first time looking at at home care services for my grandma. Once it comes time for my mom shell be getting tender care services as well!read more

If you want supervised, managed and monitored people caring for you loved one, this is NOT it. Nurse Registries like... this one are not responsible for anything. You the patient/client/family are responsible for anything that goes wrong. Theft, abuse, etc. Florida Statute 400.506 (19) "A nurse registry may not monitor, supervise, manage, or train a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, certified nursing assistant, companion or homemaker, or home health aide referred for contract under this chapter....." Of course they will take a nice cut out of the invoice sent to you. They're good at that part.read more

Outstanding service, a couple of small glitches but were promptly rectified. The staff, always gave prompt attention... when I had a question and my day nurse and night nurse were wonderful placements, they both did very well, always on time, efficient and kept in touch with me even when off duty. They kept my PT schedule and did not allow me to slack off but always paying attention to my physical ability each day. The Organization is well run and staffed with the right people and they appear to try and match the personalities of the nurse to the patient. I was grateful for Elizabeth and Martha and would love to have them both back if the need arises. Thank you Tender Care Services.read more

An update to a review my dad, William E Guy, Jr., wrote about a year ago (from his daughter)...Sadly, my dad passed... away a few months ago, but Alan and Linda and the absolutely wonderful caregivers at TenderCare made the last two years of his life as good as they could possibly have been. Another home health care company initially cared for my dad, but he wasn't happy with the company or the caregivers. TenderCare was a whole different story. They truly do care and do everything possible to make things easy on the patient and the family.My dad's main caregiver was Oral Smith. He brightened my father's (and mother's) day the moment he walked in the door. He cheerfully attended to my father's care, and helped in so many other ways without being asked. He just knew what to say and what to do to make things better. So after my father passed away, it was an easy decision to ask him to stay on and look after my mom, and Alan and Linda made the transition so easy.Besides being a kind, listening ear and a helping hand, Oral is vigilant about helping my mom avoid the scammers who have unfortunately multiplied since my father passed away. He alerts my brother and me if there is anything at all we need to be concerned about. He has told us many times that he's only a phone call away if we need him, and every time we have called, he's been there.I would give TenderCare (and Oral) 100 stars if I could.read more

Simply put, TenderCare services is a miracle. They were a miracle for my family, and will be a miracle for yours.It... was 11pm on a Friday. My father had gotten out of the hospital from triple bypass surgery in Florida, and I just found out that the person who was going to be with him all day couldn't make it. I was in a complete panic. I called up TenderCare expecting to get some pre-recorded message. But an amazing thing happened .. a real person answered the phone. And by 8am the *very next* morning, the CEO of TenderCare himself, Alan Pearce, was standing in the lobby of my dad's home with the most incredible nurse ready to support my father. I'm confined to a wheelchair and require home healthcare. About a year ago, I switched from another service that... wasn't working out well to TenderCare, which has proven outstanding. Their home health care aides come twice a day; an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening and help with everything from changing my diapers to feeding the dog. Since my wife is a retired nurse, that's all the help I need for now. I can't recom mend them more highly! Their care givers are well qualified and well trained and professional.read more

My bedridden mother needed 24/7 care in her home. I had utilized 2 agencies prior to TenderCare. I did not continue... with the first because my attorney advised me against signing their contract, which was heavily slanted toward the agency's interests. The second agency provided care for two months, but was constantly having trouble keeping the 24/7 schedule staffed. Caregivers were frequently changed and they used 6-7 caregivers to staff the schedule, which was very confusing to my Mom. Almost everyday I received calls about scheduling and other problems. At one point to my horror, my Mom was left alone for over two hours when there was a scheduling problem. I contacted TenderCare on a Sunday afternoon, after hours. I received a response in less than an hour and within three hours was informed that they would be able to staff my Mom's schedule with 4 caregivers (each working a 12 hour shift) by Monday morning. I spoke with the owner, Alan. He assured me that TenderCare never calls with problems, they call with solutions. I can attest to the accuracy of that statement. When TenderCare began providing services the rate of calls immediately decreased to once in a great while...once or twice a month, maximum and always with a problem solved. The schedule was stable and the caregivers professional and compassionate. The owners, Alan and Linda take personal attention to a new level. They both came to visit Mom when they first began providing services. They called her to check on her well being and satisfaction during subsequent weeks. On her birthday they stopped by with an orchid, cupcakes and balloons. When it was necessary to bring a new caregiver in, they always had the caregiver come to the house ahead of time to meet Mom and to get to know both the home and her needs. Having the experience of 3 agencies in the Treasure Coast area, I can only say that TenderCare is the very best. They provided both me and my Mom with excellent services and peace of mind. I highly recommend TenderCare.read more

We are so thankful for Alan Pearce and his family, and caregiving crew (staff) particularity, GeGe, Pauline, and... several others who cared for our elderly, recently infirmed parents during this past year. From my initial call to ask questions, to the many follow-up calls due to our long distance away, to the problems that surfaced with the changing needs of care, to the care during a critical hospital stay for their complex and different needs. We knew this was going to be difficult to find the level of care with the balance of being there but "unseen", helping but allowing independence, not taking things personal (when one doesn't feel well...well, you know....) and all the understanding and compassion that goes along with that. These caregivers were dutiful, stretched and patient, Alan is second to none in his genuine care and rapt attention to get things worked out with a feasible solution, and with many different family members with different concerns, yet none of us readily/locally available. The family is thankful for the peace of mind that allowed us to regularly visit but keep our lives at home away intact as transporting was not a good option. Thank you ever so much, Alan.
