Caregivers referred by TenderCare can provide in-home personal care services designed to assist with hands-on care, including bathing, toileting, ambulating, grooming, dressing, and more. This level of in-home health care can be difficult for family members to assist with while maintaining relationships and personal boundaries. In-home personal care provides clients with the assistance they need to stay independent and safe within their own homes.
TenderCare Services refers the most experienced, reliable, and professional in-home certified nursing assistants (CNA) and home health aide (HHA) caregivers that the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach have to offer. Due to the hands-on nature of personal care, these services can only be provided by a CNA or HHA; TenderCare Services thoroughly verify all licenses and credentials as part of our screening procedure.
CNA and HHA caregivers referred by TenderCare Services can provide a wide range of services:
- Bath visits for assistance with bathing/showering and personal hygiene
- Toileting assistance
- Grooming and dressing assistance
- Ambulating and range of motion exercise assistance
- Providing assistance with medical aids, such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, shower chairs, etc.
- Catheter care and ostomy care
- Recording vital signs; pulse, blood pressure, respiration, and temperature, as necessary
TenderCare Services refer CNA and HHA caregivers anywhere from 1-24 hours per day, for as many days as are requested, depending on each client’s desired level of care.
Below are some examples of a personal care schedules that caregivers referred by TenderCare currently offer to numerous clients:
8 am – 8 pm: A CNA or HHA caregiver spends 12 hours each day with the client. The caregiver will assist with morning and evening routines, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming. They will also prepare meals, transport the client to doctor’s appointments, do grocery shopping, run errands, and undertake light housekeeping tasks such as keeping the kitchen and bathroom areas clean and laundry.
Another example of personal care is a 1-hour bath visit each day. A CNA or HHA will visit the home of a client who may be able to do everything other than shower/bath alone. We can schedule the caregiver to make these 1-hour bath visits as often as the client desires each week.
In-home personal care can be flexible to suit each client’s needs. To help assess each client’s requirements, TenderCare Services will gladly schedule a time for one of the directors to visit your home at no cost.
